Bharathi Education Trust (BET) has its headquarters at BET campus, Bharathinagara, Maddur Taluk, Mandya District, Karnataka State. B.E.T was established in 1962 by Dr G.Madegowda, the honourable Ex- Member of Parliament and former Minister of Government of Karnataka. It is aimed at fulfilling the educational, cultural, and social, economical and other aspirations of the people in and around Bharathinagara, Dr G. Madegowda is the founder chairman of the trust and his sincere, untiring efforts have led to the establishment of several institutions at Bharathinagara, Hanumanthanagara and Kirugavalu under the auspices of BET.
G. Madegowda Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was founded in 2017 by Dr. G. Madegowda under the auspice of Bharathi Education Trust (R). It is approved by Pharmacy Council of India and affiliated to Board of Examining Authority, Bengaluru. It is located in a beautiful atmosphere spread over a 2 acre campus with massive buildings, spacious classrooms, well equipped laboratories, well stocked library and play ground. Well qualified, experienced and dedicated staffs provide excellent teaching, knowledge along with good discipline making the students a well skilled sensible citizen to the society.
The college presents a happy blend of traditional and modern education where knowledge imparted to the students, so that they can occupy a better place in the modern competitive world and develop all round personalities retaining the beauty of mind and intellect as well as of soul.
